Mr. Robert Walkingshaw

Rob Walkingshaw has already completed two successful careers and is quietly working a third under the banner of “retirement.” Rob taught all levels of high school mathematics from Algebra to AP Statistics and AP Calculus during a ten year tour as a Math Instructor at the Dana Hall School (Wellesley, MA). Rob completed his mid-career Masters in Teaching (M. Ed.) from Harvard University before joining the faculty of the School.

Prior to his teaching career, Rob was a very successful financial service industry executive, having founded one of the Boston area’s most successful venture capital firms, North Bridge Venture Partners in the early 1990’s. Rob did stints at ABS Ventures, Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers before that. In addition to his teaching degree, Rob received his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and his AB in Economics from Princeton University.
