William Robinson

William is a graduate of Harvard Business School, where he focused his studies on social enterprise, strategy and operations management. William graduated from Princeton University with a major in Economics and a certificate in Political Economy and focused his senior thesis on the impact of school size on student achievement. Originally from Arkansas, William enjoys traveling with his wife Christie, who is a PhD candidate studying Asian religion at the University of Virginia.  

Professionally, William’s focus is supporting education reform organizations that are changing the national conversation about what type of achievement and impact is possible. He spent the past summer working as an Education Pioneer at DC Public Schools and has supported a handful of education reform organizations during his graduate years. Prior to business school, William worked for four years helping manage a supply chain and design layouts at McMaster-Carr Supply Company. William helped analyze recruitment and selection strategies of highly selective organizations and synthesize the lessons applicable to The Center for Better Schools. Since graduating from the Harvard Business School, William has begun his new role as Deputy Director of the University of Virginia’s Curry School/Darden School Partnership for Leaders in Education initiative.
